GoldenSide – Mis Demonios

GoldenSide is an award-winning international music project formed by two Venezuelan-Spanish musicians: Aaron Marfil (artistically known as ASMA) and Carlos Dalton. Their hit single, Mis Demonios, features a collaboration with Boston Rex to reinterpret one of their tracks, Demons. The track’s title directly translates to “My Demons,” corresponding to the song as a Spanish version of the original. The song delves into the indietronica genre, blending indie pop with modern elements such as electronic drums and bass lines.

The main difference between Mis Demonios and the original track Demons is Boston Rex’s emotional vocals during the second verse. These Spanish lyrics enhance the song, turning it more vibrant and hopeful towards the end. Mis Demonios’ is a song meant for people who struggle with internal demons and personal battles, creating a message of yearning during hardship. Modern pop elements such as the electronic bass and percussion create the song’s unique electronic pop soundscape, using vibrant and airy sounds and adding a thick layer to the sound’s overall structure. ASMA primarily takes charge as the creative mind behind all the songs, writing catchy and dynamic lyrics that are memorable with each line. Carlos Dalton, on the other hand, provides a more technical aspect and serves as the lead guitarist for the duo. Overall, Mis Demonios is a chill song with a deeper theme, enhanced by the Spanish vocals provided by ASMA and Boston Rex.
