Dirk Kitterlin – Tearjerker

Tempus Novare is an album consisting of 8 amazing instrumentals. Created by Dirk Kitterlin, it features many innovative electronic sounds that capture audiences through its unique soundscape and groovy style. Tearjerker, the first track, is a perfect representation and opener of the complete set. Dirk is a solo electronic composer and producer who emphasizes the resonance of the electric bass guitar and its groove.

The song begins with vibrant synths that sound ethereal and otherworldly. Its soft string-like high notes and resonant chord drops bring about a delicate wave that listeners will feel. As the synths continue to play, the bass guitar and percussions introduce themselves with a groovy beat and catchy riff. This changes the song’s dynamic, from a soft, gentle breeze to a faster swinging style. Afterward, the track continuously changes its melody and beats giving audiences a different experience through each minute, all within the same track. Each experience is unique with its vibe, such as a darker synth with a deeper sound and theme. The length of each change in beat is perfect enough not to become dull and stay fresh throughout the whole song. Towards the end, the track comes back full circle and returns with the same opening combination of bass, percussion, and catchy synth which sounds pleasing and electrifying simultaneously.

Make sure to listen to the whole album, as there are many other great tracks such as Printed Times and More Dreams each unique from the rest. Check out Tempus Novare by Dirk Kitterlin on all music streaming platforms now.
